Introduction

ISG delivered a multi-phased live refurbishment of a mixed-use commercial development, Cameron Plaza - situated within the prime location of Tshim Sha Tshui. Operating at its full tenant occupancy, ISG was appointed to deliver alteration and addition works to revitalise the valuable asset within one of Hong Kong's busiest tourist and retail district. Spanning 380,000 sq ft and 19 storey high, the project was successfully delivered in January 2017.

The project

ISG undertook the live upgrade of the mixed-use scheme involving the fit out of a new concierge area, typical lift lobbies, entrance of the building along with the façade alteration works. One of the key challenges of the project was the maintenance of an uninterrupted business and restricting noisy activities within a fully occupied building, encompassing retail shops and office units across 19 floors. The challenging project was delivered in four phases, involving day and night works, precise execution plan, highest standards of health and safety and expert project management skills to meet a tight programme set at 20 weeks.
